Next up: Doit 2.60

Doit 2.60 (32) was submitted for public App Store review on 25 October 2026. It is not a public App Store release yet. The beta is marked Testing in TestFlight; this is not proof that an individual tester has installed it. Public availability still requires Apple approval and a separate manual release. The new store name is Doit: Fun To-Do Lists. Check your installed version before looking for these features.

Dot, Doit's smiling companion

Your lists, organised

Categories, recently used ready-made lists, section headings, item times and priorities, and recurring lists on the days you choose. Subtasks gain section headings and a compact three-step view that expands to show everything.

Capture, then choose

The new Doit AI screen brings Talk, Snap and Paste together. Review what Dot heard, adjust dates or priorities, and choose a day, backlog list or existing parent task before adding anything. Recognition can make mistakes; you remain in control.

First-time setup includes a bounded Cloud AI allowance after consent: up to five attempts including one paper scan, within 30 minutes, ending with setup. Replay does not renew it. Ongoing AI access requires Pro; this does not change any subscription trial or price. The privacy policy explains Apple-receipt verification, processing, limits and retention.

A daily nudge to get moving

Optional morning and evening reviews bring unfinished items together, with completion and move-to-tomorrow actions. Customise the daily challenge wheel, expand each challenge day to edit its tasks, and keep the Today tab alongside To-do, Lists and Goals.

A little play and personality

Sky Hop joins the quick games. Spot the difference has 66 scenes across six themes, and Pattern Pop continues as an increasingly difficult streak. Dot's wardrobe gains a softer Pink colour, with shading and outfit details preserved.

A new face, not a new learning curve

Happy is the new default icon for everyone, with 23 other expressions available to preview and apply with Pro. Dot's encouragement is firm, blunt and cheeky. Your existing To-do, Today, Lists and Goals tabs stay in place, and no Doit account is needed. The required onboarding film is removed; the Help tour remains optional.

Big goal, small daily steps

With Pro, choose a goal and dates, review an editable day-by-day plan, then start when ready. Choose on-device planning or optional cloud planning after consent. Cloud requests contain the selected goal title, dates, day count and language, support up to 60 days and share the existing monthly allowance. They do not send your entire planner.

Share a starting point

Send lists or goals as links and codes. Recipients preview and explicitly import a separate copy. Links contain the shared content and can be forwarded; there are no accounts, revocation controls or live collaborative editing. Read the privacy details before sharing anything private.

Focused repairs

Backlog focus, keyboard controls and saving, compact task actions, large-text layouts, goal labels and dates, and onboarding replay controls have been improved. Real-device keyboard, icon, purchase/restore and multi-device iCloud acceptance are still separate checks; this is not a claim that every possible bug or every test-catalogue case has been cleared.

Shake to open an optional feedback prompt. Nothing is sent automatically; choose whether and where to share your category, message and app version.

What is not active

Automatic motivational texts and emails are not configured and are not sent in this build. Optional contact and age-group answers stay on your device. There is no advertised discount code or new messaging subscription. A future sending service would need a separate choice and updated information.

Questions or feedback? Please do not send passwords, receipts, payment details or private planner exports unless specifically needed and agreed with support.
