Continue without a subscription: wait for the offer's close countdown, then use the × in its top-right corner. Free includes manual tasks and notes for today, one saved list, one added list per day, one backlog list with unlimited items, unlimited active challenges and Home Screen widgets. Creating and managing goals and all normal Doit AI capture require Pro. Version 2.51 is the current public version; 2.60 (32) was submitted for public review on 25 October 2026 and is not publicly released. Check your installed version.
Find a task: check the selected date, All/Personal/Work filters and Unfinished items. A task scheduled for another day has not necessarily been deleted. Use Undo immediately if you changed or removed something unintentionally.
Something is missing: avoid deleting or reinstalling the app. Keep Doit installed, export your current data from Settings → Your Data, and contact support with the affected date and device details. Recovery depends on what data remains; we cannot promise deleted information can always be restored.
AI drafts: check the wording, date, time and repeat pattern before adding. You can edit or remove drafts. Speech and image recognition are not always accurate.
Finding your way in 2.51
Looking for 2.60? The new build is awaiting public App Store review, not publicly released. See the update details. Its protected Cloud AI access verifies Apple receipts in Supabase and includes a limited first-time setup allowance after consent. If verification is unavailable, use on-device capture or manual entry; do not send your receipt to support. Automatic text/email check-ins are not active.
Backlog in 2.60: tap Add a task or its leading plus, enter your task, and use Hide Keyboard or Return when finished. Closing Backlog also saves its draft. If the keyboard or AI/options controls still fail to appear or dismiss, report the exact steps, device and installed version. Do not delete your data to try to fix it.
Goal plans in 2.60: with Pro, choose the goal and dates, review the generated plan and edit it before Start. You can use on-device planning or choose Cloud AI after consent. One plan covers up to 60 days and saves a daily parent task with checklist steps; it does not add every step as a separate top-level task.
Shared lists and goals in 2.60: open a shared link or paste its complete code, preview it and explicitly choose import. You get a separate editable copy, not live shared editing. Anyone with a link can read and forward its contents; deleting your original does not withdraw their copy.
New icons in 2.60: Happy is the default for everyone. Preview other expressions in Settings; applying one of the other 23 requires Pro. The Watch receives the new default image, not a runtime icon picker.
Onboarding and feedback in 2.60: the required video is removed, while the Help tour stays optional. Settings replay does not reset your planner or renew one-time gifts. Shake to open a dismissible feedback prompt; the report is not sent automatically. Choose its destination in the share sheet or close it without sending.
Tasks and compact menus: double-tap a task to open subtasks; hold it for the larger action menu. Tap the header or footer to restore compact menus. Focus mode stays active when you leave and return until you exit it.
Today: the Today tab has a daily challenge wheel and 13 replayable games. Your task list is in To-do. Accept a challenge to add it to today's tasks.
Your own challenges: create a challenge with its name and daily actions, then use Share to send an invitation. A friend can open the invitation or paste its complete code in Join Challenge. The plan is shared, not your private completion history.
Dot's house and gifts: tap Dot at the top to visit his garden and inside room, then choose Dress Dot up for the wardrobe. Tap a gift box itself to open it. The daily gift may wait until a later open that day or until you have entered three tasks.
Cloud AI: Pro users can choose optional Claude processing in Settings → Doit AI. Consent explains what goes to Supabase and Anthropic. Voice sends a transcript, never audio, to those services. The allowance is 1,000 total cloud requests per anonymous installation per UTC calendar month, including up to 35 paper or handwriting scans. See the privacy policy.
Supported systems: 2.51 requires iOS 18 or later on iPhone, iPadOS 18 or later on iPad, and watchOS 11 or later for the companion.
Notifications and appearance: choose reminders in Settings. Preview a background or text colour before confirming. Non-default backgrounds and text colours require Pro.
